PICK SIX

WEEK 3:

UTEP @ Tennessee (-31)

The Miners are on a 14 game losing streak and opened their 2018 campaign with a 30-10 loss to Northern Arizona and 52-24 beatdown from UNLV. Vols win big.

Miami Hurricanes (-10.5) @ Toledo

The Rockets just lost their star quarterback in Logan Woodside to the 2018 NFL Draft. He was responsible for Toledo’s success last season and major reason why they scored so many points. Miami’s first game against LSU was a bit of a surprise, but LSU may be better than people think. Miami obliterated Savannah State (FCS) 77-0. Easy task, sure. But Toledo getting 10.5 points is insulting to the Canes. Turnover chain comes out 5 times on Saturday. Canes roll like a big river.

Troy @ Nebraska (-10)

Scott Frost is off to a rocky start as expected at Nebraska. Huskers lost to Colorado 33-28 last Saturday at home. Their opener against Akron was cancelled. So that was Nebraska’s opener against Colorado. Working out the kinks. Fear not, big red nation. Troy opened with a 56-20 beatdown from Boise State. I’ve got the Huskers 34-17.

Vanderbilt @ Notre Dame (-13.5)

WHAT ARE THESE LINES? Vanderbilt? VANDERBILT?! INSULTING! Vegas is giving the Commodores some false hope in their matchup with Notre Dame this Saturday. Vegas might lose its ass on this one. Notre Dame underperformed last weekend against Ball State, but that’s your usual in-state little bro giving you their best shot when you’re flat emotionally. Notre Dame will be rolling like a big river.

Ohio State @ TCU (OVER 58.5)

I think there will be a lot of scoring in this game from both teams. The Horned Frogs’ Big 12 passing attack will give Ohio State some problems and will allow the toads to make it into the 4th quarter with a chance to win. The spread is OSU (-12.5). Just too close for comfort to fool with. Take the over.

Fresno State @ UCLA (+2.5)

Late night game. 10:30pm (est) kick. Chip Kelly is working out the kinks in Los Angeles. His offensive approach at UCLA seems very similar but also very different of the scheme he ran while at Oregon. I loved the hire when they made it and I think UCLA will be back in a couple of years. I also think they demolish in-state little bro Fresno. No way Chip loses this game. Zero chance.

Have fun winning a bunch of money guys and girls.
